Tell us about your role here at Lotus.

I am a bench jeweler here at lotus jewelry studio. I help forge, assemble, and package our jewelry products. There are diverse skills used within my position ranging from learning new product designs, hammering, soldering and much more!

What inspires you as a designer?

Many things inspire me such as my culture, beauty aesthetics, fashion, psychology, and more. Handling metal material is very empowering! Metal seems very permanent yet it is very permeable and forgiving. It is truly magical that a seemingly heavy material can be transformed into adornment that is delicately beautiful.

What are some fun facts about yourself that you would love for people to know about you?

My parents are from El Salvador and i can speak pretty fluent Spanish! I graduated top of my class from Towson University with a double major in Psychology and Fine arts. I have an intense passion for learning, academics and mental health in correlation to the arts. I enjoy painting, fashion, makeup art, playing video games and bouldering.
